Getting Started

  1. Open DeskDays and you'll see your current month's calendar
  2. Tap any day to log it as Office, Remote, or PTO
  3. Use the navigation arrows to browse between months
  4. Check the Dashboard for a quick overview of your stats
  5. Visit Reports for detailed insights and analytics

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I log a day?

Simply tap on any day in the calendar and select your status: Office, Remote, or PTO. You can also long-press to access quick actions.

Can I edit past entries?

Yes! Tap on any day to change its status. Your reports will automatically update to reflect the changes.

How do I view my reports?

Navigate to the Reports tab to see your monthly and yearly breakdowns. You can view insights on your work patterns and PTO usage.

Is my data backed up?

Your data is stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud backup enabled, your app data will be included. We recommend periodically exporting your data for safekeeping.

Can I sync across devices?

Currently, DeskDays stores data locally on each device. Cross-device sync is on our roadmap for a future update.

Troubleshooting

App is running slowly

  • Close and restart the app
  • Make sure you're on the latest version
  • Try restarting your device

Calendar not updating

  • Pull down to refresh the calendar view
  • Check if you have enough storage space
  • Try force-quitting and reopening the app

Reports showing incorrect data

  • Verify your entries in the calendar view
  • Check that all days are properly categorized
  • Try switching months and returning
